Webinar: The Dos and Don'ts When Investigating An Employee Harassment Complaint

Webinar: The Dos and Don'ts When Investigating An Employee Harassment Complaint

Wednesday, August 17, 2022 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

In today's litigious environment, it may feel like hardly a day goes by without some type of "formal" report of harassment, discrimination, or some other type of inappropriate conduct by an employee. Unfortunately, there is a limit to what an employer can do to reduce the risk of such a complaint realistically. In other words, employers really cannot control the inflow of complaints.

But once a complaint is reported, employers now have the opportunity to take control and create a narrative that tells the story of a fair and reasonable organization that cares about its employees and exhibits its commitment to a workplace free of bad conduct. To take control the right way, however, requires diligence, commitment, and patience, and it requires those traits to be utilized within a defined investigative process. Join the ACEC Georgia HR Forum to learn about the dos and don'ts in navigating harassment and discrimination complaints and how to best protect your organization by following the same investigative protocol every time.
