Description

ACEC Georgia has a formal written partnership agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and the Georgia Highway Contractors Association known as the Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality (GPTQ). The work of this partnership is led by ACEC Georgia through the Transportation Forum, which meets monthly at GDOT headquarters, and includes the GPTQ Steering Committee, GPTQ Consultant Relations Committee and numerous other sub-committees. The Transportation Forum also spearheads the annual Transportation Summit, which brings together Georgia's state and local transportation officials, elected officials, and the leaders of the design and construction industries.

This month's meeting will have two presentations: 

• GDOT Update provided by Meg Pirkle, PE, Chief Engineer, GDOT
• Legislative Update provided by Michael Sullivan, President & CEO, ACEC Georgia
