The Technology Task Force is focused on providing Georgia's engineering industry leaders with the most up-to-date information and best practices that will equip them to navigate their firms through the exponential changes resulting from rapid technological advances, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation of engineering processes. Task Force members explore both how these advances will change the way engineering is done as well as the significant impact these changes will have on engineering industry business models. One of the initiatives the Taskforce has taken on is to provide a series of consultant-led OpenRoads training. The format of these sessions will be approximately 1-hour of virtual instruction. The goal of these training sessions is to provide specific guidance and updates about how GDOT’s configurations change OpenRoads. They are intended to be State-specific and are not general software training. 

This month's session will be on the following topic -  Module 6: Sheet Creation

In this module, we will review GDOT’s new ORD methodology for generating plan, profile, and general note sheets.
