What is the Future Leaders Program (FLP)?
ACEC Georgia's Future Leaders Program partners with top industry professionals to train up-and-coming leaders on managerial skills that extend well beyond the engineering profession. Attendees learn from an array of professionals on topics such as:
Build Firm Momentum:
Today's competitive workforce and ever-changing landscape pose new challenges for young professionals. It isn't enough to simply be good at what you do - the leaders of the future are innovative, and command respect among their peers. ACEC Georgia's Future Leaders Program not only develops talent within your organization but elevates your firm as an industry leader.
Registration:
Do you have an employee who is ripe for leadership growth? If so, register him/her in the Future Leaders Program. Applicants must be employed by an ACEC Georgia member firm. This year's class will be limited to 55 people; this program has sold out for the past six years, so register early. The deadline to register your engineer(s) is Friday, August 27, 2021.
Commitment:
The 2021-2022 Future Leaders Program runs from September 2021 - May 2022. All attendees must commit to attending eight two-hour sessions followed by a networking reception or social event. Future Leaders Program graduates will be recognized by their nominating principal and the ACEC Georgia Board of Directors during a final Graduation Ceremony in May 2022. Throughout the program, attendees will be given the opportunity to earn two PDHs per meeting for a total of 16.5 PDHs. Attendance is mandatory for all sessions (one excused absence approved by Principal is allowed).
Program Benefits:
The ACEC Georgia Future Leaders Program trains emerging leaders to meet the challenging demands of today's highly competitive workforce and turns ordinary employees into extraordinary leaders. Being a part of this program is so much more than gaining PDH's or obtaining industry knowledge; it transforms the way young leaders think and positions engineering firms - like yours - for success.
