Participants will leave with an understanding of the importance of business development\, client management\, and other firm profitability factors that will make them far more valuable to their firms as they also continue to develop their technical abilities. Program Schedule: \n8:00 am - Introduction 8:05 am - Business Development is Everyone's Business: The Importance of Building Relationships with Clients and Potential Clients 9:00 am - Enhancing Your Professional Performance Through Effective Internal & External Communications \n9:50 am - Break 10:05 am - The Business of Engineering: Firm Finance\, Profitability and Project Management\n11:00 am Create Your Own Career Path \n11:45 am Steering Your Own Ship: Owning Your Professional Development 12:15 pm - Keynote Speaker \n12:30 pm - End of Program \n Participants will receive 4.5 professional development hours (PDHs) upon completion of the program.
